At Hands Across America LLC, we provide high-quality CPR, First Aid, AED, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training designed to give you the confidence and skills to respond when it matters most.

At this time, we do not offer ACLS or PALS courses. However, we are happy to refer you to a trusted training partner while we continue expanding our course offerings.

We are proud members of the Colonial Heights and Petersburg Chambers of Commerce and have built a reputation for providing engaging, educational, and hands-on CPR training.
Our classes are flexible, informative, and designed to ensure every student leaves feeling confident—not just certified.

Summer Blue

Summer Blue brings over 25+years of experience in the medical and dental fields, along with a passion for educating others.
Hands Across America LLC was founded after the passing of her father in 2019. Although CPR may not have changed the outcome, the experience inspired Summer to dedicate her life to ensuring others are prepared when emergencies happen.
Having maintained her own Basic Life Support certification for more than 25 years through work and continuing education, Summer realized there was a need for something more.
She noticed many students were simply being taught enough to pass a class—not truly understanding the life-saving skills behind the certification.
That realization became the foundation of Hands Across America LLC.
Students don't just need to be taught... they deserve to be educated.
Since opening in April 2020, Summer has proudly taught more than 3,500 classes and trained thousands of students throughout Virginia.
She has partnered with numerous colleges, universities, nursing homes, healthcare organizations, and community partners who continue to trust Hands Across America LLC to provide CPR, BLS, and First Aid training for their students and staff.
As demand continued to grow, Summer made the life-changing decision in July 2021 to leave her 15
year career in dentistry and pursue her new passion for teaching CPR full-time.
Today, she travels throughout Virginia and the East coast for larger groups and continues expanding Hands Across America CPR to serve even more communities.
